Bea was a licensed beautician before attending Duff's Secretarial School and then went on to work for a local dentist. She would marry Thomas McConnell Scheeren in 1948. He survived 50 missions in Europe as a bombardier in World War II, and returned to the Ford City area where they met working at Schenley Distillery shortly after the war. They had their first born child - Thomas Frederick in 1950 and a daughter Lynda Suzanne in 1953 while residing in the East Liberty area.

She loved keeping a beautiful home, loved to read, was a talented seamstress and enjoyed making some of her own clothes.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, William J. "Bill" Waugaman, whom she married on March 30, 1974; son, William J. Waugaman Jr. of Eau Claire; daughter, Becky Waugaman of Kittanning; and her grandchildren, Jake, Luke, Dylan, Dave, and Alex. Thank you very much for all your care and support during this time of loss. The professionalism of your entire staff was evident throughout and was deeply appreciated by our entire family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Toy, son Thomas Frederick and husband Thomas McConnell Scheeren. She is also survived by her nephew Alan Stewart of Kittanning, and niece Pamela Grace, husband Kel and great niece Madeline, of Australia.

Glenn attended Kittanning High School and was a lifelong resident of the Kittanning area. He retired in 1982 after 31 years with Union Carbide Linde Division. He enjoyed spending time at his camp near Sigel and walks in the woods. Glenn was an avid reader and loved picnics with his family.

She lived most of her live in the Kittanning area and enjoyed traveling. Bea was a licensed beautician before attending Duff's Secretarial School and then went on to work for a local dentist. She would marry Thomas McConnell Scheeren in 1948. He survived 50 missions in Europe as a bombardier in World War II, and returned to the Ford City area where they met working at Schenley Distillery shortly after the war. They had their first born child - Thomas Frederick in 1950 and a daughter Lynda Suzanne in 1953 while residing in the East Liberty area.

She was a faithful member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Gastown where she served as the financial secretary for many years. She retired in 2018 from Elderton State Bank after 25 years of service and previously worked as secretary at Evergreen Motors where she met her husband of 48 years. She enjoyed traveling to Florida, attending NASCAR races, riding motorcycles and going to camp in Tylersburg. Cathy loved taking rides in their antique cars with her husband and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Everything went smoothly and I really didn't worry about what do or when to do it. You made a difficult time for our family a lot easier.

Leo's father passed when he was a child leaving his mother and 5 sisters. He enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 17 which enabled him to help support his mother and sisters by sending money back home. A special thank you to the entire staff for their caring and professional manner in handling everything for us and out family. We cannot thank you enough for all the assistance and support you provided our family at this difficult time.

Sis always put her family first and took great pride in all their accomplishments. She always made everyone feel as if they were a part of her family. She bled black and gold and never missed a Penguins or Steelers game. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N.

Portraits would become her specialty, and she painted portraits of family members for years. She even painted a portrait of herself which won her a prize in the Pittsburgh Art Show. Born September 30, 1924, Beatrice "Bea" Imogene Scheeren grew up as a part of the greatest generation. She was the daughter of the late Warren Everett and Ethel Toy. As a 1942 Kittanning High School graduate, the country was still at war, and FDR was president. He got them through the depression with his radio Fire Side Chats, and the country pulled together with their Victory gardens and sacrifices.

Modernization of the building has continued over the years but always with the goal of retaining the home's original charm and hospitality. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Henry J. Mortimer, who died November 12, 1989; and son, James V. Mortimer, who died June 12, 2003.
