Another option is to fly into Sofia Airport and then rent a car or take a train or bus to the coast. This is what we did last summer when my fiance’s family came to visit since flights into Sofia were much less expensive than flights to Burgas. Located near the Turkish border, Ahtopol is the go-to destination for those who simply want to get away. It’s quieter and less crowded than some of the more popular resort towns, and it’s known for having more of an old-world charm. It’s also quite a bit cheaper than some of the other destinations on this list. This makes it a great place to go for those who are traveling on a budget.

It is literally located inside the National Library (hence the Biblioteka in the name) and is usually quite fun, although there is the occasional slow night. As for bars in the Sofia nightlife scene, basically anything in the Vitosha street area is good. Review of Bahama Mama ferry
As the nearest Bahamian island to the United States, it is an excellent destination for a weekend of relaxation in a tropical setting. There is legend that Juan Ponce de León went in search of the Fountain of Youth in Bimini in the 1500s after learning of its existence from the Indians.
It’s an incredibly scenic and quiet seaside town with not too much going on, but that’s much of the charm. Kara Dere is another one of the few wild beaches in Bulgaria. There are no real amenities on this beach, and the only road to it is a bumpy dirt road. But those who go there are treated to a laid-back beach with camping, sunbathing, and guitar playing around the campfire. It has a very romantic vibe and is a great spot for those who want to escape civilization. While everything was relatively quiet, things were still open and the weather was still warm enough to enjoy swimming.

What we liked best about Regent Seven Seas Grandeur
Both courses were paired with a destination-inspired aperitivo that made for a relaxed ambiance. The Culinary Arts Kitchen on Grandeur is one of the most popular onboard destinations. (We also learned that you can take advantage of this deck even without booking a spa treatment). Our private balcony, well over 300 square feet, was larger than we’ve found on most other ships. Having full cushions on the deck chairs (brought in each night by the cabin steward) added to their comfort.
